Master in Press Journalism, Evgeni Dimitrov worked in several of the first private newspapers in Bulgaria in the 1990s.
Evgeni Dimitrov is on the board of the Bulgarian Association of Professional Photographers, an industry organization that has participated in the Bulgarian National Assembly's parliamentary committees on the amendments to the Personal Data Protection Act and the Copyright and Related Rights Act.
Since 2010 she has been a lecturer at the School for Photojournalists of Bulfoto Agency, led by Lubomir Benkovski - Benji.
Evgeni Dimitrov has broad interests in archaeology, nature and music, and is the author of one of the richest jazz photo archives in Bulgaria.
He was a jury member of the national photography contest BGPRESPHOTO from 2003 to 2009.
